Some new games have been added to the Grade One Teaching resources page!
The first game – one we played as a class for Black History Month explores some key facts and figures of the Underground Railroad. The game is intended for Grades 6 and up due to the higher level vocabulary and covered topics. However, you can play it with our child and explain the more complex words to them. (You will need to download some free game playing software onto your computer – if not already installed – before you play this free game.)
The second game is a puzzle map of Canada. The students can piece together the provinces and territories of Canada. You will not need to download anything to play this game and it is completely free.
